Unless you die, you grow old. It is how you grow old, though, that makes a difference. What you do in your younger years will be dragged into your senior years. What you sow is what you reap. Some of those you may have sown long ago may cut your life shorter like bitterness and stress. Having an unforgiving attitude will do the same.
On the other hand, being a good person will extend your life. Honoring your parents is the first command with a promise of longer life. Not that bad people do not live long. Oftentimes they do because they are still given the chance to change for the better. Whether one dies too early or too late is in the Life Giver’s hands. He alone has the reasons why.
At any rate, as temporary lives in this earth, people can do the best within the alloted time. We all have 24 hours in a day whether rich or poor, young or old, male or female. We always would like to believe and hope that we will be able to see our grand children. Planning is also part of growing old gracefully. You can be in a retirement community Ohio if you like to. Then your actions should be according to your plan.
