This year is our 4th Christmas in Arkansas, USA. It has been 4 great years celebrated with friends! I am glad we have somebody like them to celebrate Jesus’ birth with. It may not be the same as what we have back in the Philippines but being with them will make you feel like you’re home.
Yearly, we are gathering to celebrate Christmas Eve at one of the designated family host of the year, and this year was at Sta. Ana’s New Home. We have lots of foods, drinks, took a lot of pictures, games and prizes, and of course, lots of gift givings. Sadly, husband didn’t get to join us this year for he was not feeling good and just let the three of us go this time. We also had our yearly tradition game – White Elephant. Everybody seemed to be happy of what they’ve got which is
good boring! (silly face insert here). Kids did Talent show ofcourse. My kids danced “Watch Me (Whip/NaeNae)”, others danced too, and one played Violin. I hope these kids will continue to perform in the future even if they gets a little bit older.
It was fun night filled with laughter and joy. Kids and kids at heart went home happy. All went home with happy faces, full tummy, car trunk full of gifts and ofcourse full of happy memories that will give smiles on our faces in the future.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of us!
Looking forward to our next celebration – NEW YEAR!!!!
