I’m seriously thinking of getting into the habit of meditating, but I’m having reservations because I know that it can be quite overwhelming. This is especially true on my part since I’m just starting to learn the basic meditation techniques for beginners. I’m finding it hard to pinpoint which technique is the best one since there are so many online guides, articles, and e-books which give their own two cents. All I know is that to begin the process, I need to be seated in a comfortable, meditative position. I guess I should start looking for thick yoga mats that I can use for meditating. I don’t want to end up aching all over just because I sat in a wrong position.
